The Peaceful Mother Our first feelings of peace were experienced while being held in our mother's arms. Mothers are creatures who are naturally inclined towards tranquility. Mothers work hard to create an environment of calm for their families. Women, being the more nurturing and gentle gender, crave quiet and stillness and can pass on these qualities to their children.
